From in-class lectures, videos, and hands-on training, you will be fully prepared to take the written CDL Permit test. With our skills and on-the-road training, you will be prepared to take your final CDL Skills and Driving test on-site to complete your course.

While training at our Murfreesboro, TN truck driving school facility, you will learn both the technical and the operational aspects of driving a semi-truck. Some of the technical information and driving experience you learn includes:

  • Maintaining driver logs
  • Reading maps
  • Planning trips
  • Performing a pre-trip safety inspection
  • Shifting techniques
  • Turning maneuvers
  • Safely backing up a vehicle.

can I transfer credits?

Credits earned at the United Truck Driving School, Inc., may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by United Truck Driving School, Inc. You may have to repeat courses previously taken at United Truck Driving School, Inc. if you enroll in another educational institution and then return.
